HPLC Grade Water

Chata Biosystems offers HPLC Grade Water in our patented non-extractable alternative to glass bottles.  Large handles offer a means to easily carry and pour from these containers, which have a standard 63mm thread opening. Optical absorbance of this HPLC grade water mimics the same water in glass from 210nm through 400nm wavelengths.  Water quality testing meets or exceeds criteria for both USP Purified Water and ASTM Type-1A.

This water meets the criteria for HPLC usage including:

•    LC-MS applications

•    Isocratic mobile phases

•    Gradient mobile phases

•    Bulk eluents for production columns

•    Applications requiring high purity water

Glass presents safety hazards from breakage.  Characteristically, plastic containers contribute too many extractables to be useful for applications requiring pure water.  As a consequence, HPLC grade water is most commonly offered in glass bottles. The Chata CHEM+PROTECT^® packaging offers a unique means to get the best of both worlds – the purity of glass with the weight and safety benefits of plastic.

These containers are easily shredded and recycled, minimizing waste and exposure to broken glass.
